Muiz Tops List Of Five Nigeria U20 Players Who Have Impressed At WAFU B Tournament
The Nigeria U20 team at the ongoing WAFU B tournament have impressed many with their brand of football so far with two consecutive wins in games against Ghana and Togo respectively, OwnGoalNigeria.com.
They followed up their 4-2 win over Ghana with a 3-0 thumping of Togo to seal a spot in the semi final, despite having one more group game against Burkina Faso tomorrow.
Top striker Abdulmuiz Adeleke has stolen the show with four goals in two games but he isn’t the only player who has impressed for Nigeria at the tournament.
Mohammed Mowiz Suleiman pick five players who have stood out for the Nigerian team so far.
Abdulmuiz Adeleke – No doubt his four goals in two games has caught the eyes, and also speaks volumes of why he trained with Chelsea and Strasbourg before joining the team.
Oraro Lucky – Not much was heard about him before the tournament, but he has so far been the standout player for them in the midfield, particularly in the first game against Ghana where he won the man of the match award.
Habila Simeone – The captain hasn’t looked out of place at all. Especially with the way he pick out passes and also compliment Lucky in the middle. Looks a very good prospect
Wahab Bolanle – A left back who occupies really good position in the opponent’s half as seen in the game against Ghana, where he won a penalty. Little wonder Malaga moved quickly to snap him up.
Lawani Clinton – He hasn’t had much to do in goal but it’s clear to see that he has what it takes to hold his own. Plays really well with his feet and commands his box excellently.
