Microsoft is preparing to create a single Copilot AI “super app”. This will incorporate chat, coding, Cowork, and its new autonomous Autopilots. Also, towards the end of the year, the app will be available for consumers and businesses as well.
However, Satya Nadella, Microsoft’s CEO, during the company’s latest earnings call, revealed the strategy. Microsoft is the latest company to join the race to create AI “super apps” that support chat, coding, and agents as well.
Furthermore, OpenAI has ChatGPT Work, while Claude has Cowork inside the chatbot. This means that you can spend all the time you want in an app that does more than just chat or just code. It’s especially valuable for OpenAI and Anthropic, which are trying to make their upcoming IPOs as successful as possible.
Microsoft has 30 million paid Copilot users out of its pool of 450 million business seats, which is quite a lot.
