Samsung’s AI smart glasses bring a new camera privacy feature

Reports have shown that Samsung’s AI smart glasses powdered by Android XR will bring an important privacy feature. The significant privacy feature has to do with the camera.

The LED indicator goes off anytime the camera is active and capturing photos or videos, or when in a video call in apps like Google Meet.

Furthermore, the indicator is visible to the wearer and to anyone else around them. This means that people will know the glasses are recording. Also, the glasses detect any obstruction and disable the camera totally if you try to block the LED indicator with a sticker or any other thing.

However, the period the glasses will become available for purchase isn’t known yet.
