Tinubu deserves accolades for Nigeria’s security gains — Yahaya Bello
Former Kogi Governor, Yahaya Bello, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as significant progress in addressing insecurity across the country.
Bello made the remarks on Friday after a meeting with the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, at the Office of the National Security Adviser in Abuja.
In a statement issued by his media office, the former governor said the recent foiling of an attempted abduction of schoolchildren in Kogi demonstrated the Federal Government’s commitment to improving security nationwide.

According to him, the operation reflected improved coordination among security agencies and the effectiveness of intelligence-driven security operations.
Yahaya Bello said; “I want to use this opportunity to commend Mr President and our leader, President Bola Tinubu, for his relentless efforts in tackling insecurity across the nation.
“I also want to hail him and your humble self on the recent foiling of an attempted abduction of schoolchildren in Kogi State, which underscores the level of support the state continues to receive from the Federal Government.
“I attribute the successful operation to the vigilance, professionalism and improved coordination among the nation’s security agencies, which is clear evidence that intelligence-driven security operations are yielding positive results.”
He also praised Ribadu for providing strategic leadership and strengthening collaboration among security and intelligence agencies.
According to Bello, the improved synergy under the National Security Adviser has enhanced Nigeria’s ability to respond swiftly to emerging security threats.
